Designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, the Barkroll paper towel holder from Alessi's Bark Collection was inspired by the place where they live: Casa Boucquillon in Tuscany. As suggested by its name, the design brings to mind tree bark. The complicated metalwork that goes into making these useful pieces demonstrates the skilled workmanship of the artisans in Alessi's Italian factory.Â
